Scot Of My Dreams by Janice Maynard
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
The Kilted Heroes series continues with Scot of my Dreams. I received an eArc from NetGalley in exchange for honest review. Scot of my Dreams is Willow's story. The three friends split up and follow their own paths in Scotland. Willow stayed near the town where they came in on the train. Interestingly enough she also meets her Scot, Bryce, when walking near water when she was accosted by his giant, lovable dog. Willow has a very different background from her pals after they were moved away from each other as children. Her life was much less stable growing up than her two friends. She and her mother really struggled and it affects her vision of relationships and love. But, Bryce, who also has never been in love is honest, endearing and forward. There are several great things about Scot of My Dreams. The setting is described in an absolutely great manner and really gives the reader a good sense of Scotland and its beauty. My absolute favorite part of the book happens towards the end for which I am not going to give a spoiler but, suffice it to say the reader will know it when they read it and agree with me that Bryce is absolutely amazing.
