Off LimitsOff Limits by Clare Connelly
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Jack Grant and Gemma have worked together for two years. They travel together, work together and spend the majority of their time together. After two years Jack is finally going to make his move. I received a copy via Barclay Publicity and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Off Limits is one of the books in Harlequin's Dare line. If I did not understand how the line differs from their other lines the "romantic" scenes in the book are quite explicit. For readers that want to get the down and dirty of the romances between the hero and heroine, this is your Harlequin line!

Jack is a billionaire who lost his wife more than two years ago. Since that time he has been a one or two-night stand as he fights the memories of losing his wife. He has been fighting his attraction to Gemma and he suspects she is also attracted to him and he goes out of his way to test her resolve. Gemma is cool and very professional. Jack cannot help but see just how far he can push her despite the fact that she is his internal counsel or, as he likes to put it his "assistant". Jack doesn't want a relationship as he is still mourning his wife and Gemma has never seen herself being married or having children though she does envy her grandmother and grandfather's love story. She just does not see how it will ever happen to her. As Jack's employee she is off-limits and Gemma is well aware of Jack's current sex life and does not want to be another one of his one-night stands. The contention between Jack and Gemma is at a point where they have to decide if they are now willing to do something about it or still consider each other Off Limits.
