Claiming His Hidden Heir by Carol Marinelli
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This was one of those stories where I kept saying she did contact you and asked for a call back but you refused to call her. Stand up for yourself woman. I know that does not negate failure to continue to make the contact but, okay, Claiming His Hidden Heir is one of those stories that maybe has been done but I love reading Carol Marinelli! I received an eArc in exchange for an honest review. Cecilia is a reserved, professional woman who has specific goals in mind when she takes an interview with Luka, an obvious player who is well-known for his antics on his yacht and across the world on the weekends. He works very hard during the week so he can play just as hard on the weekends. One of the things I like about this book is that Cecilia does a great job of keeping to herself and when she realizes her feelings are going to get her in trouble she removes herself from the situation. I would say that communication could have really helped avoid some of the things that occurred. But, given the diverse ways Luka and Cecilia live their lives, it is no wonder that it would seem that maybe it would be a risk to be up front. It is a good addition to the Secret Heirs series.
